Here is the day's news: Leyland boy injured in hit-and-run A 12-year-old boy has been injured in a hit and run whilst riding his bike in Leyland. The boy was struck at the mini-roundabout next to the train station, between Station Brow and Moss Lane, at 7.45pm last night. The driver of the car - believed to be a black Ford - reportedly drove away without stopping, leaving the boy injured in the road.
