Dear customer, If you’ve already filed your Self Assessment tax return for 2024 to 2025 – or we’ve agreed you don’t need to file one – thank you. You don’t need to do anything else. If you haven’t filed your return, you don’t have to wait until 31 January 2026, you can do this anytime. This means you’ll avoid the last-minute rush as the deadline approaches. If your details change |
It’s important to let us know of any changes to your personal details, for example, you’ve changed your name or address. You can also make these changes in our app. |
If your circumstances have changed |
It is important you let us know if you think you don’t need to fill in a tax return – for example, when you’ve stopped being self-employed. If you don’t file on time, you might get a penalty. You can use our online tool to check if you still need to file a return. And, if you do need to leave Self Assessment, you can fill in our online form to tell us. |
